Siebel 6 to Siebel 8 Call Center upgrade project.

My role was mainly focussed on the integration between Siebel and other applications with in ABN Amro Bank’s application landscape and in particular with the integration between Siebel and ABN Amro Bank’s Online Customer Service application by introducing a Web Service interface in Siebel.

Other tasks included the standardization of the Siebel implementation by implementing a framework of reusable functions thereby simplifying the development of custom script.


KPN Telecom, The Netherlands

Siebel 8 eCommunications implementation.

Siebel 8 was introduced as a salesforce automation application at KPN. I was mainly involved with the integration between Siebel and other applications within KPN’s application landscape as well as customization of the Siebel application.

While employed at E.Novation CRM Solutions I was involved with the following projects:

Siebel 7.8 Financial Services implementation.

My tasks at Rabobank included creating functional and technical designs for new functionality for Rabobank’s Siebel implementation. The implementation itself was mainly done offshore in India. As part of the technical design process it was also necessary for me to create some proof of concepts.

My main role on this project was to migrate the customizations from the existing Siebel 6 implementation to Siebel 7.7.

My roles on this project included customzation of the Siebel application, implementing the integration with Akzo Nobel’s SAP application, and supporting the rollout of the application to the mobile users in the UK, The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Spain and Portugal.

As part of the project team I was responsible for the design and development of the integration between the Versatility/VB application and Optimus’ trouble ticket system, Remedy ARS.

VB/MS Office reporting solution.

Responsible for the development of a Microsoft Office-based reporting solution for one of Excell’s call centers in the UK.
